CONNECTRAC

Connectrac bet the company on us. They got a partner with the right capabilities and process—and the resources to add value at every turn.

THE POWER OF CONNECTIONS.

When Connectrac approached us about re-designing their product line, they had already negotiated with a manufacturer—and they insisted on handling production.

As we led them through design and engineering, we showed the product team how our knowledge and experience help us anticipate and solve potential issues throughout the development process.

CONNECTRAC OFFERS THE MOST FLEXIBLE MODULAR POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN THE COMMERCIAL INTERIORS INDUSTRY—CONNECTING PEOPLE TO POWER AND DATA WHEREVER THEY NEED IT.

Meanwhile, their vendors’ bids started to come in—each with its own confusing, inefficient, and costly conditions. Suddenly, Connectrac leadership took more interest in our capabilities.

So, we invited them to Taiwan. We visited with our supplier contacts. We touched and tested materials. We talked with owners who normally don’t pursue business with U.S. companies because of the traditional barriers.

WITH THIS INITIATIVE, CONNECTRAC OVERHAULED ITS ENTIRE REVENUE ENGINE—ESSENTIALLY TURNING OVER A PRODUCT LINE OF MORE THAN 30 SKUS WITH THE FLIP OF A SWITCH.

It didn’t take long for the Connectrac team to recognize what Cobalt + Indigo could offer. We were intimate with the product and the process, and we had earned their trust.

Before the last of the outside quotes arrived, we presented a plan for manufacturing and a highly competitive proposal. Today, even with attractive estimates on one piece of the business or another, Connectrac still sees the value in partnering with Cobalt + Indigo.
