Lifewarmer's breakthrough technology platform enables highly portable, point of care infusion warming. To the clinician, the technology is virtually invisible. This leap forward in warming architecture truly enables normothermic infusion as easily as conventional infusion.
In designing Lifewarmer's product, our main challenge is to make the IV setup as quick and easy as possible for the point-of-trauma clinician. That clinician may be an EMT or a military medic. To that end, we removed the power switch and digital display. We made the connector reversible. We made the software sense the presence and flow of fluid. We put the LED state indicators on both sides and we made the user setup motions mimic those of traditional IV sets.
Because of it's size, flexibility, and power utilization, this technology is set to totally shatter existing paradigms and dramatically improve patient outcomes and costs.
